WITHOUT A CAR - TROPICALE VISIT

I was stressed out when my car had to be left in the workshop for the body repairs but it was upon the persuasion of an old friend that I finally agreed to go along with her suggestion of a short visit either to Genting Highland or nearer to Kuala Lumpur the Berjaya Resort at Tropic ale the next week because I cannot go home to my home town i had to hang out at my Palladium apartment for 2 weeks, so I figured I better do some thing. Mean while my body aches from all the unfamiliar route to the car workshop using the taxi. Despite that I still can afford to go groceries shopping as well as check out Mutiara Shopping complex at Jalan Batu off Jalan Ipoh - I stop at one of the kopitiam restaurant and had a good lunch. I was greedy when the aroma of the curry puff led me to pick put and bited into a hot curry puff. I burn my mouth. Soon as i decided to join my friend in the short trip, I was mentally planning , who els is she asking to come along , whose car or rather which car is she taking, how much is all these costing me.. I need RM 300 for my bumper repair payment. i shut my mind and decide I will deal those question when i get nearer to the date.

BUMPER CAR ACCIDENT

On Monday 28 July 2008 after sending off my friend I drove to town to go to the bank. Unfortunately during the traffic light stop my car got banged from the back by this large CAMRI, my blood drained and my god my car! I got problem. At that time I thought of my mother, I was on the way to go back to my home town in the southern part of the country. My brain was thinking of all sorts of problems that could a raise from this accident. As I U-turned to checked my car the other car followed. I was first angry because my plans have to change, but at the same time I am glad the driver of the car came out and was stunted that he banged into my bumper. He was apologetic. Because of the heavy traffic, he checked his car and took a look at my car - as he hold open the bonnet - the door was stuck. I realized then, how hard he had bumped into my car. He was restless and later owned the problem by giving me his name and hand phone number. I was too panicked that he offered to paid for the repairs that as I move off and I forgot to look at the car registration plate number. I saw the number but cannot remember the letters. I began to digest what he said and what I said. I blurted "Can I trust you on your words?". I quickly made up my mind I need to make a Police report for insurance claim purposes. I need to do the repairs. I thought this may take at least 1 week.

I was a careful driver but this old guy was not. So off I went to the Traffic Police Station which is on the other side of town. As I finish reporting I called the driver who banged into my car and told him that I had made the report for claim purposes. Well! I was surprised when he said why did I do that.. I thought that was the right way-the proper way, but not his way. He preferred to settle my repair bills. To shorten the story, he met up at the Car Body Workshop and he really kept his words. I was partly relieved as the finance part was settled but I am left with the transport problem. I had to find alternative way to go to my night class. My car will be under repair for about 1 and 1/2 week.

Landscapes & Gardens

These are some of the pathways I walked through with my Sony Cybershot.
Pretty varied creative layouts.

THE MALASIAN INTERNATIONAL LANDSCAPE& GARDEN FESTIVAL 2008 19-27 JULY PERDANA LAKE GARDEN

It was upon my friend's visit to KL that I made it to the Landscape & Garden Festival. On the first day we went there it was hot and it's already the last two days. I had to parked my car a long way from the exhibition site. My friend was already complaining of the distance we have to walk to the ticketing booth to enter. Despite the heat there were many visitors of all ages and I am surprised at the number of foreign visitors. My friend really absorbed all she can on the designs and landscape layout. She asked many times to record specific flower bed arrangement so she can refer to the types of plants, flowers, hedges and creepers that can make a good combination of colors, heights and textures.
